Stockholm are often praised for its comfortable, efficient and safe transportation. The company Stockholm Transport (SL), is responsible for bus, subway, community train, tram and some ferry routes, the Metro is the most convenient way to get around the city Stockholm is divided into three zones and zone tickets are valid for multiple trips within an hour. Tickets can be purchased at the SL Center, Åhléns City tourist information, subway booths, ticket machines, or via SMS. You can not buy tickets in cash on the buses in Stockholm. I you make many trips the prepaid cards the best. It is also possible to purchase a 1 -, 3 – or  7-day card. These give you free travel in all zones during that period.

There is no problem to find things to do when visiting Stockholm. If you want to do sightseeing, the city has plenty to offer. Explore the city with a Hop on Hop off Bus or Boat tour with Strömma, or why not both of them? Do you feel like seeing the city by yourself? Then rent a bike with the Stockholm City Bikes card. Maybe you just want to relax and take it easy? Visit one of the many SPAs around in the city, e.g. Centralbadet, Sturebadet. Or why not try your luck and go fishing. Within the city you don’t need a fishing card. The places where you can fish with a fishing rod are on Strömparterren, Strömkajen, Strömbron, Blasieholmen and on Skeppsholmen.

Stockholm is frequently ranked as one of the most connected cities in the world, and thanks to pioneering IT infrastructure Stockholmers are spoiled with high surf speeds. For example, Stockholm was the first city in the world to introduce publicly available 4G. Free WiFi for guests is very common in cafes and hotels in Stockholm. For example coffee chains like Waynes Coffee, Espresso House and Pressbyrån and hotels like the Radisson Hotels, Scandic Hotels, First Hotels and Nordic Choice Hotels, to mention a few. See Skansen, Gröna Lund, Stockholm City Hall, the palace, and museums filled with dinosaurs, photographs or modern art. You’ll discover sights, museums, attractions and excursions you didn’t even know existed. You’ll be spared the trouble of paying by cash or card at entrances. With the Stockholm Pass sightseeing will save you time and money.

There are a number of groceries stores in Stockholm City and in the immediate outer parts of town. There is a great variation of supplies and often a large selection of organic food. NK has a fine Market on the basement floor. Ahlens has a large market as well, again on the basement floor. For smaller purchases there are convenience stores such as Pressbyran and Seven Eleven on almost every block. Hemkop/Ica~ Sweden’s largest chain of supermarkets has stores both in Lindhagen and Vartan. For smaller purchases….
