The subway station Slussen is a few minutes’ walking distance away and boats to Djurgården and downtown Stockholm departs from the dock in Gamla Stan. FIRST HOTEL REISEN
Hotel Reisen is situated on Skeppsbron in Gamla Stan with the Royal Palace right around the corner. The hotel’s history goes back to the 1750s and its furnishings are a mix of modern design with hints of classical elements. The hotel spa is located in the cellar vault, which during the 1600s formed part of the Stockholm city walls – it is freely available to hotel guests.

RADISSON COLLECTION STRAND HOTEL
Strand Hotel was inaugurated in connection with the summer Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 and has 171 rooms, many of which have views of Nybroviken and Strandvägen. At the top, there is the penthouse suite with its spectacular views of Stockholm and its own private terrace. The hotel is situated within a comfortable walking distance to Norrmalmstorg and Stureplan, as well as the scenic promenade along Strandvägen to Djurgården.
RADISSON BLU WATERFRONT HOTEL STOCKHOLM
The Waterfront Hotel is one of the more recently built hotels in Stockholm. It is located at the Waterfront Congress Center between the Central Station and City Hall in Stockholm, within walking distance to the train, bus, subway, and the Arlanda Express. Hotel Rival near Mariatorget offers some unique hotel experiences. The hotel’s theater seats 700 people and some of the most renowned artists flock to perform in its intimate setting. Lydmar Hotel is a second-generation owned boutique hotel right next to the Royal Palace and National Museum. The décor is a special blend of minimalism and extravagant abundance.
